After arriving from Juventus for a then world-record fee of £89m, Paul Pogba may have been expected to be the man who could take Manchester United back to the top again.

Reports in recent weeks have claimed Pogba is likely to leave the club in the summer, and now The Manchester Evening News have revealed the Frenchman has told teammates he still wants to make his exit.

After hearing about the update on Pogba’s situation, fans of the Manchester side took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the matter.
One fan meanwhile admitted they could completely understand his stance, and that “any top quality player” could see they aren’t a “serious club”.
A couple of fans of the Manchester side also admitted that Pogba simply has a bigger ambition than the club, with one supporter in particular saying that it could be Marcus Rashford next.

Having looked like he could be leaving last year – reports had suggested the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus were interested – he ended up staying put.
