Reported Everton transfer target Everton Soares has been at it again on Instagram after liking a transfer-related post from fan account _everton_, which they had tagged him in.

Sky Sports reported earlier this month that the Merseyside outfit were interested in the Gremio winger, with journalist Bruno Flores of Radio Grenal last week suggesting on Twitter that they were closing in on a deal for the 23-year-old.

This isn’t the first time the Brazil international has liked an Everton post on the popular social media platform either, having done the same thing earlier this month.

Toffees director of football Marcel Brands said on January 14 at the club’s AGM that the club lacked depth on the right-hand flank, and while Soares is a wide man he has primarily played on the opposite side during his career to date, according to those matches where Transfermarkt has recorded the Brazilian’s position.

Given all of the rumours there is surely no smoke without fire when it comes to Everton’s interest in the South American star, but it remains to be see whether this latest social media activity is a hint that a deal will happen before Friday’s deadline or not.
